  • It was found in this study that WO₃thick films calcinated at 700℃ could be used to detect H₂S gas. Relationships of the variation of the sensor conductivity with the heater power and H₂S gas concentration have been investigated. H₂S sensing properties on WO₃thick films were discussed in several conditions : about 0.05∼20 ppm of H₂S concentration and 240∼420℃ of operation temperatures. The sensor response was appeared to be directly proportional to H₂S gas concentration. In addition, it was appeared that the sensor response was affected by the thickness of WO₃films and particle distributions of WO₃substrate. However, NOx gas would interfere with the H₂S sensitivity of sensor developed in this study. For overcoming this problem, several additives should be considered from now on. (rdf:langString) (en)
