  • A reasonable simulation model is constructed by using the three dimensional governing equation considering the resolution near the urban with detail topography and land-sea effects. What the interest of the numerical model developed in the study is the nested technique is used to calculate with the higher resolution and efficiency. Two grid systems are used in the technique, one for large calculating region with the coarse mesh grid (CMG) and the other for the small urbanized region with the fine mesh grid (FMG). In order to prove the validity of the model, the calculations were conducted considering the real topography of Pusan including coastal effects, and comparative discussions with measured data are carried out. The results are in good agree three dimensional model used in the study is proved as a feasible to predict the atmospheric flow in the mountainous urbanized coastal area. (rdf:langString) (en)
