  • Two dimensional meso-scale numerical models of land and sea breeze system are compared to identify the most useful model using personal computer. The results of the model experiment show that 1) The surface energy budget was found to be more proper than sine function and Oochouchi function for the prediction of the ground surface temperature in case the vertical eddy diffusion coefficient was set to be constant. 2) The Estoque model of the vertical eddy diffusion coefficient decreases linearly from the upper surfae layer to the top of the Ekman layer. This model was showed land and sea breeze better than the other model set constant of the vertical eddy diffusion coefficient in case the parameterization of the ground surface potential temperature was set to be the surface energy budget. 3) The higher the mountain and the more the mountainous region, the greater the effect of mountain and valley winds.
