  • In this paper, the mesh quality improving schemes were presented such as mesh refinement control scheme, artificial mesh boundary scheme and boundary enveloping scheme. A new approach to nodal coordinate optimal smoothing for dealing with the geometrical problems due to the mesh quality improving schemes was also presented. Several application examples were given, which show the roles of the presented schemes. (rdf:langString) (en)
